The life and death of River Song.

If you know someone who’s depressed, please resolve never to ask them why. Depression isn’t a straightforward response to a bad situation; depression just is, like the weather. Try to understand the blackness, lethargy, hopelessness, and loneliness they’re going through. Be there for them when they come through the other side. It’s hard to be a friend to someone who’s depressed, but it is one of the kindest, noblest and best things you will ever do.

Never heard somone talk about this disease as accurate as he does. He captures it so well!

China has launched its once-a-decade panda census, trying to determine how many of the endangered animals live in the wild amid efforts to boost numbers. The census — the fourth since it was first launched in the 1970s — is also expected to ascertain pandas’ living conditions, ages and any change in habitat, and according to the count a decade ago, there are 1,596 pandas left in the wild in China, with 1,206 of them living in Sichuan.
